"Oh, Reverend Shane's preaching to you now, boy."
A young woman who has retained everything that makes her unique. Maggie has always been the compassionate and nurturing type. Always making sure others are hydrated, and healthy to survive being on their own. If possible she offers them a bit of supplies that she has with her. If they are hurt in some way it isn't long until she asks if they are alright. It is what makes her seem like their mother more than just some stranger.
While others get carried away from the heat of the moment she is more rational. Always keeping calm and her wits about her. Maggie has learned that acting recklessly always gets people in trouble or killed. She thinks everything through and seems several steps ahead of others. Her courageousness sometimes battles that side of her. If there is an opening to save those around her courageous side jumps into action.
Over the past few years her skills as a natural leader developed organically. Maggie watched intently the way Rick kept the group safe since the farm. Picking up on what a leader needs to have to get the trust of those around them. To protect them, and make them stronger than they ever thought possible. It has always been a certain dream of her to lead her own group of survivors.
A stubborn girl from a young age which always danced to her own beat. She can be a bit argumentative more so if she wants to get her point across. There are times she doubts she can survive the new cruel world. She gets a bit overly-attached especially to places such as Alexandria. Places that seem a bit too good to be true. Where she can see herself being able to settle down.
The moment Maggie arrived in Alexandria she sensed the potential in the town. While things seemed a bit too good to be true she believed they could make it work. Deanna the leader seemed smart, and charismatic enough to make the residents believed they were safe. It was that which drew her to the woman that she looked up to as a role model. Someone who taught her more about what it took to lead. Throughout everything there had been one thing that truly made her happy.
It was not long after they joined the community she found herself pregnant. Maggie hadn't planned on it, but the moment she knew nothing made her happier. After seeing how Rick is with Judith, she wanted the same. Glenn seemed happy about being a soon to be father. So one can imagine how it felt when she had nearly lost him. After they discovered the quarry walkers, they decided to deal with the problem. It was either let them be or have the potential of them somehow getting out. It was during their plan that Glenn went missing believing to be dead by the rest of the group. Maggie couldn't stand the thought of her child being with its father.
Just as she had feared the walkers became the communities biggest threat. The damaged done by a group known as the wolves made it easy for them to breach the walls. Maggie survivor instincts went into action fueled by the need to protect her baby. Just as she thought it was over once again god had saved them. Giving them the courage to protect the first home they had since the prison. Now two months later Maggie had started to show just how pregnant she was. Still trying to improve the town to make it safer for them. Wherever they needed her besides not much she could do being pregnant.

The fortified neighborhood gave him some sense of security that his family were safe. Safe from the undead that now roamed the world as if it had always been theirs. Lucas never knew normalcy so when the world ended he accepted it easier than the others. Instead of letting his emotions get the best of him he merely acted as a source of strength for his sister and brother-in-law. It was the least he could do for everything they had done for him. If only he had the balls to handle a gun or leave the safety of the community he might be able to pay them back ten fold.
For now Lucas everyday found himself sitting on the cobblestone steps of their house. With his book in hand he sat there eyeing each individual that passed by making sure one of them weren't planning anything. Even if he had lived in King County for years he never interacted with any of their neighbors. Afraid that they might catch onto his awkwardness or about his disorder. They weren't children so they might be harsher on him if they knew. It scared him more than the dead who roamed their world. Being outcast by the very people who he knew he needed if he wanted to survive.
As his sister and brother-in-law napped upstairs he read the psychology book in his hand. Lucas heard the rustling of leaves as the wind picked up. Ruffling his hair in its wake as he brushed his bangs out of his focused eyes. Glasses rested against the bridge of his nose as his fingers moved along with what he read. Muffled voices carried along with the breeze which belonged to those around him. Lucas wished that he could interact with whom those voices belonged to. Though he knew that as long as he had his family he was going to be okay.
