"Oh, Reverend Shane's preaching to you now, boy."
Remi considers herself a fighter first and foremost, and has been in many fights since the outbreak. In actuality she’s rather inexperienced with the actual art fighting and the use of weapons. She’s had some limited teaching on boxing, grappling, and Krav Maga, has shot a gun a few times, but that’s about it. Still, it’s one of her primary goals to become a seasoned fighter, no matter how hard it is. But it’s kind of hard to look threatening when you’re a petite, dorky, somewhat clumsy young girl.
Remi thrives off physical action and is a thrill seeker. She easily becomes bored and restless and tries to help out with missions outside the walls whenever she can even though she sometimes just gets in the way. Being useless to the community is a pretty big fear of hers, and she’s a little preoccupied with he idea of being a hero.
She can be somewhat dishonest at times and feels almost no guilt when lying to people unless she deeply cares about them—in spite of this, she’s fiercely loyal to the point where if she trusts you enough, she doesn’t even need an explanation. She’s just on your side.
Remi can be a little cheeky and sometimes just doesn’t know when to keep her mouth shut. She’s pretty brash when angry or emotional, and can often get pretty sarcastic and go overboard when cracking immature jokes. Not to mention she usually has terrible timing.
She is a proficient gymnast, but is also pretty clumsy at times. One moment she can be pulling off a long jump or climbing something like a boss, the next she’s tripping over nothing.
Remi is a spontaneous person and is terrible at planning or keeping a schedule. She pretty much flies by the seat of her pants and prefers to improvise. In spite of not usually being a long term planner, Remi does have her goals and can get extremely set on them. She’s very strong willed and determined—but you could also just call it being stubborn. She knows how to be realistic of course, but if there’s a sliver of hope that she can have her way, she’ll go for it.
Like most people at the end of the world, Remi is a terrible cynic and is slow to trust people. In spite of this, she’s very forgiving once she’s come to trust you. If she’s thoroughly convinced of someone’s apology, she’s bound to give them another chance. At such a dangerous time in the world, this isn’t a good thing and opens up many opportunities for her to be misused.

History:
Remi was a spunky young college student working a part time job as a waitress. She liked playing music with her friends and doing stupid dangerous things for the adrenaline rush in her free time. She made bad choices, got in trouble sometimes and probably wasn’t working hard enough at her education in college--you know, a pretty typical young adult. There was nothing particularly interesting about her life and she hated in that way. Her constant search for excitement and something out of the ordinary nearly dominated her life and lead her into a lot of bad situations. Of course, she didn’t know how good she had it until the outbreak. Once things went, bad Remi would’ve given anything to go back, just take her education seriously and become a normal productive member of society.
Remi saw her parents die in the outbreak but never saw what happened to her younger brother. He could still be alive for all she knew, but there was no way to track him down. There was no sign of her boyfriend and her other friends either, so she survived on her own for a while. Eventually a group took her in, she made friends, actually had food to eat and got to be a help to the group to the best of her ability. Things were actually pretty good for that short time and part of her began to feel like things would go back to normal one day.
Of course, there was your usual struggle for power among the group and things got a little less comfortable. The group went out of control and people began fighting and hurting each other. After the leader was killed by his right hand man she knew she had to leave. Before she officially left, a man in the group attempted to take advantage of her and she beat him to death with a brick. It was her first time committing murder and she still hasn’t quite forgiven herself, though she now knows it’s necessary to survive.
Remi left the group as the dwindling remains of it got picked apart by walkers and was on her own again. Various incidents occurred, she went through a few more groups, more near death experiences and always just barely escaped. She was small, not a very good fighter, and hated that about herself. At least she was starting to become numb to the horrors of the world, it wasn't so hard to handle anymore.
Eventually she was found by some scouts in Alexandria and decided to join the community where she currently does her best to be a productive member of it and does everything she can to learn more about self defense. In spite of her best efforts, she struggles to fit in.
"I hereby declare we have spaghetti Tuesdays every Wednesday"
The door to the car slammed shut, muffling the sound of their voices. Eden continued to cling to the package and gritted her teeth in frustration. Both she and Cordell were seated near a window with Valentine in the middle, and Clover somewhere farther in the back. She got a weird sense of satisfaction as she sat there—she was covered in blood, dirt, water, and sweat and it was all getting on the seats of Cordell’s fancy-ass car. The moment was pretty short lived, however, and ended as soon as Cordell opened his mouth again.
“Explain, please.”
The car hummed as it began down the darkened road. Eden took a shaky breath.
“There was a fighting ring under the bar,” she begin, “I fought in it.”
“Was money really worth becoming a bloody mess?” he turned to look out the window.
“I was kind of forced into it,” Eden replied. She was still angry with Oliver and Finley, but the reward seemed to soften the pain. Eden ripped into the package to check if she really did get what she was promised. Stacks and stacks of bills were tucked firmly in the package, and while she obviously couldn't count it right then, she knew it was a lot.
“Greedy little thing," Cordell murmured.
The second time she'd heard that today. Eden fix him with a glare.
“It’s for my mother,” she hissed, “You know, the woman you said you loved so much and then abandoned out of nowhere. Don’t tell me you forgot her already.”
Eden slumped back farther in her seat.
“You’re such a piece of trash,” she muttered.
What he said next made Eden want to kill him more than ever.
“Tenebris residents can’t transfer money to the surface. I’m afraid you’ll have to find another use for it—”
At that point, her body moved faster than she could even think out her actions. Eden unbuckled and lurched across the seats toward Cordell, Valentine’s scream ringing in her ears. She was done with him messing with her life. Done hearing his voice. Eden grabbed his neck and jammed her thumbs into his throat.
